Associate Dean
Dr K. Mouli Krishna
Dr. K. Mouli Krishna, Doctorate in the discipline of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics and assumed charge on 02.11.2018 as Associate Dean, College of Veterinary Science, Gopavaram, Proddatur. He joined in Government services as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon in 1986; and he was instructor in 1988, Assistant Professor in 1991, Associate Professor in 2002 and Professor in 2009. He has completed 32 years total service in teaching, research and extension.
He was the recipient of Nil’s Lagerloff Gold Medal at master’s level and Hyderabad Race Course Gold Medal at Doctoral level. He was also the recipient of Best Paper Presentation Award and Dr G B Singh Memorial Award presented by ISSAR. The Indian Society for Study of Animal Reproduction (ISSAR) honoured him with the Fellow of ISSAR

The College of Veterinary Science, Proddatur was started established in the year 2008 vide G.O.MS.No.247, Finance (SMPC) Dept, dated 20.08.2008 of Government of Andhra Pradesh. This College is a constituent College of Sri Venkateswara Veterinary University, Tirupati offering by Five Years Degree course BVSc & AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry) the Veterinary graduates serve the livestock in the field of animal husbandry and from 2016 year admitted batch onwards the duration of course is Five and half years.

The students are excelling the fields of academics, sports, games, literary, and cultural activities at college, university state and national levels.
- Students have excelled in inter collegiate sports games and cultural meet in mono action, one act play, skit and group dance and bagged over all championship in cultural and literary activities.
- Student got Gold medal in shuttle badminton champion at national level.
- Students participated in NSS Youth camp at Rajamahendravaram and bagged award in essay writing competition.
